Kingdom Builder Scholarships
The Kingdom Builder Scholarships are awarded yearly to up to four full-time students who maintain a 3.2 G.P.A. and who demonstrate an active implementation of their faith in their church and community. Recipients are invited to re-apply for renewal each year. These awards may range up to $2,000 each. Fill out an application.
PNC Minority and Urban Student (MUSt) Scholarship
The PNC MUSt Scholarships are awarded to up to two full-time and up to three half-time minority and/or urban students who demonstrate an active implementation of their faith in their church and community. Total awarded amounts may range as high as $9,018 for full-time students. Fill out an application.
The Edward A. Robson Scholarship
For support of academic scholarships for students in various programs at the discretion of the Seminary.
The C. N. and Ruth Hayes Scholarship Fund
The income from a fund established by the Hayes Foundation in honor of C. N. and Ruth Hayes provides financial assistance to worthy seminarians, regardless of their denominational affiliation, to be used for tuition or living expenses while attending the Seminary.
The Bruce C. Stewart Award for Outstanding Middler
This award is given to a Middler student who has completed at least 85 but not more than 110 credit hours by the end of the Spring Quarter. The award recognizes academic excellence as shown by the cumulative grade-point average. In case of a tie or a near tie in G.P.A., the award also takes into consideration the student's pastoral concern as shown in service and relationships within and outside the Seminary community.
The Milne-McQuiston Scholarship Fund
The income from an endowment fund given by Mrs. Helen Milne Wilmouth provides a scholarship for graduate study in a foreign theological institution, preferably in Scotland. This scholarship is awarded periodically, “to the student maintaining the highest average in excellence in scholarship and general qualifications for the ministry of the Reformed Presbyterian Church.”
The Minority and Urban Student (MUSt) Scholarship Program
Approximately 35 percent of our student body is African-American (one of the highest of any reformed seminary in the nation). Endowed MUSt scholarship funds provide assistance vitally needed by African-American and other urban students. Two-third tuition scholarships are available annually for full-time students. Recipients are chosen on the basis of excellence in scholarship, proven ministry, and (especially) leadership potential.
The James T. Mitchell Scholarship
For support of academic scholarships for students in various programs at the discretion of the Seminary.
The Raymond P. Joseph Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded to a graduating senior and a returning student who demonstrate an understanding of and practical application of the Mediatorial Kingship of Christ. These $500 scholarships are presented at the graduation ceremony.
The Ross and Lola Keys Scholarship
This award is offered to one student each year who demonstrates a heart for evangelism and a desire to labor in ministry in a foreign culture. This award will equal half tuition for the selected recipients.
The Frank and Olive Walker Scholarship
This award is for full-time Reformed Presbyterian students preparing for ministry or missionary work.
The Wayne A. Spear Scholarship
For support of academic scholarships for students in various programs at the discretion of the Seminary.
US Army Chaplains Candidate Scholarship Partnership
This award is offered to one student per year who is interested in future chaplaincy with one of the components of the US Army. This award, which is provided by the Army and RPTS in conjunction, covers the full tuition for the recipient. More information about this scholarship can be found by clicking here.
