Well Grounded Academically
For many years the Seminary served predominantly Reformed Presbyterian students, and offered a diploma for those who completed the three-year program satisfactorily. In 1973, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania granted the authority to offer the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) Degree. In 1994, the Seminary gained full accreditation by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), the major accrediting body for seminaries in the United States and Canada.
Our entire faculty is well qualified academically; most of our classes are taught by professors with earned doctorates. Our faculty is composed of teaching elders of the Reformed Presbyterian Church, along with adjuncts from other conservative Reformed denominations, that have served as pastors. This gives them both the experience and the perspective of preparing others whom will serve in the ministry.
