Anthony T. Selvaggio
Visiting Professor of New Testament Studies, 2004-
Rev. Selvaggio was a practicing attorney before entering seminary, and this systematic profession and experience translates nicely to delivering well-planned, thorough, and informative teaching on the New Testament Scriptures and current studies and movements related to them.
Professor Selvaggio is an active writer. He released A Proverbs Driven Life: Timeless Wisdom for Your Words, Work, Wealth, and Relationships with Shepherd Press, and recent books with Evangelical Press are The Prophets Speak of Him: Encountering Jesus in the Minor Prophets, What the Bible Teaches About Marriage, and The 24/7 Christian: Practical Help from the Book of James. He also is editor and contributor for The Faith Once Delivered: Celebrating the Legacy of Reformed Systematic Theology and the Westminster Assembly, Essays in Honor of Dr. Wayne R. Spear, released this year. A forthcoming work on Proverbs and another on James are slated for release this fall.
In addition, Rev. Selvaggio has published a series of representative articles on "Songs of the Covenant," in The Reformed Presbyterian Witness, as well as "Preaching Advice From the 'Sermon' to the Hebrews," in Themelios, and "Listening to the Song of Songs," Reformed Theological Journal.
