Academic Load
The academic year is divided into three quarters of approximately 11 weeks each. The average schedule for a full-time students is 15 quarter hours.
A student may not take more than 17 quarter hours of credit without special permission of the faculty. Students who find it necessary to earn a part or all of their expenses are encouraged to reduce their program of studies accordingly. They may extend their program for an additional year or more. 12 hours of course work will be considered a minimum academic load for those enrolled as regular full-time students; while six hours of course work is considered the minimum academic load for those enrolled as regular part-time students.
