What Will Your Last Act of Stewardship Be?
I am only in my second year as an employee of RPTS, but I have been impressed by the role that estate gifts have played in the forward movement of the seminary!
Because the very nature of a gift from a person’s estate usually means that the amount of the gift is many times larger than the “annual” gifts that same person made during their lifetime, these gifts have a tremendous impact and benefit upon the work and mission of the seminary. Additionally, not only are they larger in financial value, but they have the capacity to carry on and last for a great many years.
A few of the wonderful gifts of support the seminary has received from people’s Last Act of Stewardship continue to this day, but were given decades ago. The power of these gifts for the ongoing Kingdom of God is staggering!
This “double advantage” of both size of gift and length of support, makes this last opportunity to give so very important!
I encourage you to review your Last Act of Stewardship giving opportunities and see if God might be calling you to assist one of the ministries of His church. Certainly one of the greatest and most powerful tools in the Lord’s plan to share His message of hope of salvation is the preaching of His Word. I hope you will consider investing in the mission and work of RPTS through your last opportunity to give! It certainly could be the biggest and most lasting gift you will ever make.
For assistance in knowing how you can more specifically fund various works and programs of the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary, contact Don Reed (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Mark Sampson (email@example.com) . You may also call 412-731-8690 and ask for either Don or Mark.
