Day of Giving 2012 Results!

The Lord once again has provided in great and marvelous ways, moving in the hearts of His people in the support of His kingdom!

The results are in for the Pittsburgh Foundation’s 2012 Day of Giving and the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary received $143,351 in donations and matching funds. Once again, RPTS ranked in 8th place out over 700 non-profit organizations based in Allegheny County.

The Lord has seen fit to increase the number of donors by almost 100% and increased the giving by 56%. The Seminary is humbled and blessed to see how the Lord’s people responded to this opportunity to increase gifts through a partial match from the Pittsburgh Foundation.

We give great thanks and praise for the provision of our heavenly Father and continue to seek Him as the Seminary approaches the crucial final quarter of the year as we work to balance our budget. Our needs continue to be great even as He has provided in such a spectacular way.

For more than two hundred years the Seminary continues to faithfully educate students who love the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word, equipping pastors for the ministry of the Gospel and preparing others in the church for effective service in His kingdom, all within the framework of the historic Reformed faith.
